LIARS IN SPACE
Ren visited a huge alien spaceship orbiting Mars.
In 2070, back on Earth, she begins to tell about her experiences at meetings of an ‘organisation’ that aims to eliminate the aliens. On this cylinder-shaped colony spaceship, she looked for the purpose of their long wandering in the universe. Were they telling the true story? The organisation needs to know the truth to get rid of them, but the mystery deepens with surprising revelations. Is she hiding something?
Meanwhile, a suffocating surveillance society has arrived on Earth that experienced a major terrorist attack. Ren’s childhood friend Ryo is a member of a security agency, which uses a super-advanced artificial brain to watch society. However, he also has to play a role in information war by the camps that divide the world and fight for hegemony. Eventually, a dispute over resources leads to a clash between the two powers.
Ryo, who witnessed this verge, begins to explore the truth of this crisis together with Ren. There, they discover the serious risk posed by the black-boxing of artificial brains and its strange implication with the aliens.
In a world infested with discontent, envy and cunning, the two devise a plan to convince others of the truth they found.

Author’s Comment
I spent time writing this science fiction novel and translating it into English. It is a long story with a lot of things in it, but I feel as if something inside me has been excavated out of the ground through this process. I don’t expect it to be an easy reading experience, but give it a try if you’re interested. <biography>
